Organizing, Preserving, and
Showcasing your Special Photos

What is the difference between the dpi resolutions?

300dpi:
If you want to view the photos on the computer, share them over the internet, print the photo at its original size or make a photo slideshow, 300 dpi is the standard setting.

600dpi:
If you want to print the photo up to double its original size, you may want to consider 600 dpi.

1200dpi:
If you plan to do significant cropping on the images, or plan to print the photo up to four times its original size, you may want to consider 1200dpi.
