Tape video correctly with your smart phone

If you tape video with your Phone, don’t suffer from VVS (Vertical Video Syndrome)! Not sure what VVS is? It’s when people hold the phone vertically instead of horizontally while taping video. And eventually, when those videos are transferred off of the phone to view on a TV screen or internet, they look bad.

What’s the lesson?

If you’re catching precious moments of video on your mobile phone, turn the phone horizontally, exactly as you see in the picture above. This will result in the video showing up on the entire space of your TV.

Tips for taping video on your mobile.

As Storyteller was busy making Holiday videos, we noticed that some of our clients were taping video through their mobile phones…and unfortunately, taping with the phone held the wrong way (vertically).

When these videos are transferred from your phone to play on a TV through a DVD player, it results in a small portion of the video being displayed on your TV. Not sure what this means?
